PARIS (THT) — French President Emmanuel Macron has declared that despite a looming political crisis over budget plans his primary objective is to defeat a Japanese teenager in a duel.
Macron has supported the French Prime Minister (which is will be shortened to Fprimister from now on) Francois Bayrou’s decision to call a vote of confidence on September 8, which if failed, would have him resign and, possibly, be sent to the Shadow Realm. The Fprimister decided on this gamble in order to gain approval for his highly controversial new budget policy which would, among other things, scrap two public holidays, freeze government spending and revert the Regionals prizing back to a Switch 1.
Although the country is in a crushing debt of over 3 trillion Euros, the French President was spotted with an entire playset of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, of which only 4 known copies exist in the world. Macron publicly challenged an unknown Japanese teenager Yugi Mutou in a duel, citing personal slights. Some have speculated that the duel could be the result of jealousy, as Mutou is still a student and Macron’s wife has had a thing for them. Critics say that it’s inappropriate for a President to fly over to Japan and flaunt extraordinarily rare cards while the country is in massive debt. Everyone at least can agree, that unlike the Fprimister’s confidence vote on September 8th, there’s no way the President could lose the duel with all three Blue-Eyes in his deck.
