An alarming number of reports claiming police brutality have surfaced since the beginning of August, mostly from communities with a majority of handtrap residents. One disturbing incident caught on video shows a well-known handtrap Ash B. in her own neighborhood, negating a special summon by a suspicious psychic woman in an act of self-defense. Out of nowhere, a police car bursts into the field, with two K9 officers emerging. Instead of arresting the charlatan, they brutally assault and negate the locals, with the violence lasting for an entire turn. The so-called officers later cover the scene of their own crime with ‘Do Not Cross’ tape, in a sick display of arrogant pleasure.
“What they’re doing is a clear abuse of power,” says Veiler, E., a handtrap who also suffered from K9 brutality. “They jumped me, pretending I negated a monster effect, then introduced me to some sick bastard who uses a pair of dice as a hammer. They had me locked out, man. Couldn’t do anything for the whole turn!” Veiler, E. vehemently denies any wrongdoing of their own, claiming they would never negate someone else’s effect. “I was just walking to my friend’s field, we were gonna Synchro Summon, that’s all!”
In addition to the creepy dice guy, other reports claim they’ve seen officers arrive in a strange armored boat, pull out a psychic gun and even turn into a werewolf. The K9 squad refused to comment, mostly growling or barking at our journalists.
Some prominent members of the handtrap community have taken a controversial stance, believing that the brutal police are doing an important service. “These monster menaces calling themselves handtraps have to be stopped – we finally got rid of the roaches and now there’s mulcharmies running amok, causing chaos with drolls and lock birds flying everywhere. I completely support the brave officers of K9, who are risking their lives to stop this madness. They have never hurt me, or my Dominus friends, and I know that because we would never stoop to such barbaric incivility,” stated Infinite Impermanence in a widely-criticized press release.
